Suggested Scheduling

Please find below our suggested schedule. Some of the films originally part of the package are not included in the travelling package but the sections remain the same and your programming should happen around them.

We started the event in Brazil with the section About WSF, to link up the festival with the Social Forums and to start off the event with images from the previous WSF (Mumbai, India, 2004). We also wanted to show that this 'movement' of Social Forums is an alternative in itself, which is one of the reasons we were so keen on having the first event of Other Worlds are Breathing 2005 take place there.

We closed the festival with the section We the people which is a selection of powerful films that really show what people can do with unity and the power of imagination. It is a celebration of the people and their ability to make choices and take their destiny into their own hands. It is a section which gives people a lot of energy and make you feel that 'Yes, another world is possible!'

Other sections can be programmed the way we had done it or differently, according to your own constraints and possibilities. For instance, we had a second auditorium for the last two days which allowed us to hold repeat screenings of certain sections. Depending on the available time, space and resources, you may or may not hold repeat screenings.
