We are working collectively for a culture that protects and promotes the rights of all individuals, communities and groups; a culture that provides equal opportunities, space and representation to all; a culture that rejects narrow, sectarian interests and promotes values of universal humanity; a culture that celebrates plurality and diversity. The role of media is critical to this process. Unfortunately, today corporate interests, dictated by the market, control the media. The corporate media ignores the cultural diversity of people. Through consumerism it consolidates a homogenised culture. Therefore, we use media to give voice to the unheard, as a tool for human rights and justice, to establish a collective culture, build citizenship and democratise society.

Under Construction: A Space for Distribution Under Construction is conceived as a non-broadcast, non-commercial distribution initiative for educational films. Under Construction aims to bridge the gap between educational audio visuals and audiences to facilitate a culture of vibrant discourse as well as the ease of access to an eclectic collection from a single source. |
Persistence Resistance is scheduled to travel to Mumbai very soon. This event is being organised in collaboration with the Indian Documentary Producers' Association (IDPA) and Whistling Woods, Mumbai. Details of dates, venue and screening schedule will be announced soon. |
